The Stanley V-5 is constructed with only superior grade materials . All components, assembly and finish are done by hand.
Features of the V-5 include Master Grade Adirondack red spruce top. Highly figured maple back ,sides and neck. Ebony fingerboard and peghead overlay. Abalone peghead fern. Dovetail neck joint. Tuned parallel tone bars.
The finish is a two part varnish finish. First a thin oil varnish is brushed on. Then follwed by spirit varnish topcoats applied in the traditional hand french polishing technique.
